Out of Pocket Emotions offers individual and group life coaching. Catherine DeAngelis uses a life coaching program, flexible in its design, and adaptable to individual or organizational needs.
Catherine DeAngelis is master coach practitioner and founder Out of Pocket Emotions program. She comes from a comprehensive work, journalism, and public relations background, and has special methods of life skills training, and certified master coaching experience.
Participants are engaged in a private in-person or telephone one-on-one coaching session, or series of workshops. She works with emotional literacy and intelligence theories, as well as, for example Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Techniques and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavior Techniques, from a non-clinical, but life goal-specific perspective. Catherine shows how expressive writing and poem making can be a form of medicine to break though letting-go and goal-achievement challenges.
Catherine’s work applies to anyone having identified, or unidentified stressors, who may be living with stress, anxiety, pain or illness, or who want to stay active, healthy and fit and believes in the mind, body, heart connection. She weaves mindfulness techniques into coaching and training, to help others in their everyday life to reduce stress, anxiety, and guide them toward a life of greater compassion, health, peace and emotional well-being.
The power of emotional self-awareness comes from understanding, and managing emotions. Our program explores the factors of emotional understanding. Our goal is to name emotions like anger, fear, joy, and work with tools to guide step-by-step to become more self-aware in dealings, within personal and social settings.
Sometimes we have difficulty with self-expression. Relationships at work or home, school, and socially can be stressful. We may have experienced trauma that has forced us to shut down our emotions, or find ourselves unable to share the right words to express our feelings so instead isolate ourselves.
The specially developed techniques in our program, will move individuals toward a healthier expressive self, and encourage achievement of personal goals at a quicker pace.
